Sensors in Spotlight is a new annual conference series sponsored by the IEEE Sensors Council. This event will be comprised of TED-style talks on sensors technology (or rather, on emerging applications that would inspire developments of new sensors technology leading to the creation of a technological eco-system in support of the emerging applications). This is a one-day conference that will include three modules, each with a keynote talk followed by a panel discussion on the same topic. Each module will be on different topics (e.g., Metaverse, Smart Cities, Autonomous Driving, NextGen Agriculture, digital health care, etc.) However, the common theme for “Sensors-in-Spotlight” is Sensors that are necessary to enable these applications.
